Rock Star Therapy is temporarily offering Teletherapy to meet the therapy needs of our community while our nation recovers from COVID-19.

What is Teletherapy?

Teletherapy is the online delivery of therapy services via high-resolution, live video conferencing. Teletherapy sessions are similar to traditional speech and occupational therapy sessions,  however, instead of being in the same room, students and therapists interact via live video conferencing.

During therapy sessions, the child and therapist can see, hear, and interact with one another in real time via the use of webcams, headsets, and a live, synchronous online learning environment. Rock Star Therapy is dedicated to delivering high-quality services using evidence based therapeutic techniques and activities. These techniques will be enhanced through innovative software and tools, providing a fun and interactive therapy session for each child.

What Will You Need:

You will need access to a PC or Mac with built-in or external camera, AND built-in or external microphone. An iPad can also be used, however, a computer is preferred. You will also need a high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 3Mbps.

What is your role as the parent?

It will be important for you (or another adult) to be physically available to assist your child during their therapy session. You will be "the therapist's hands" as needed, and/or you may need to assist with technology. Being an active participant in therapy sessions maximizes carry over. AND you'll have FUN!!
